WILLIAMS ADVANCE MATERIALS
or WAM is a specialist supplier of materials for the electronic industry. The company have an extensive range of products including PVD Materials (Slugs, Starter Charges, Crucibles, Targets - all configurations etc.) as well as other special materials/alloys. We have however focused on the Packaging Materials Group product range.             

For over 80 years, Williams has been a leader in the fabrication and refining of precious metal alloys.  Today, Williams has the most advanced technology available, integrated directly within our manufacturing facilities. Theirextensive offering of refined metals and alloys are cast and fabricated to meet the exacting standards of various Microelectronics applications.
All of WAM alloys are available in a variety of shapes and forms, including ribbon, preforms, rod, ring and wire.  Customer shapes can also be included using their state-of-the-art design and fabrication equipment.

WAM Lids 
Hermetic lids are available in a variety of sizes and designs including the traditional Combo-Lid® and low cost Microlid-TM.

WAM Bonding Wire and Ribbon 
Bonding wire & ribbon is manufactured using Williams proprietary hydrostatic extrusion process, providing a cleaner and more uniform wire.

Custom packaging materials are designed to meet the diverse needs of hybrid manufacturers.
